How Neer Supply and Design Turned a Broken Lead Form Into a 10.57x Return

Neer Supply and Design is a Winnipeg-area home renovation and design studio, helping homeowners plan and source everything from flooring to full kitchen and bathroom renovations out of its own showroom.

Before working with Adovate, new business came from word of mouth and showroom walk-ins, with no consistent system turning ad clicks into booked consultations.

Adovate built and ran a Facebook Lead Ads campaign with one goal: fill the pipeline with renovation and design leads that Neer Supply and Design's small team could actually handle.

The Challenge

Early performance was strong, but a hidden problem in the lead form was quietly working against the campaign.

  • Leads selecting "kitchen" with a stated budget under $10,000 were automatically disqualified, even though many countertop-only jobs fit comfortably under that number
  • Lead volume dropped to roughly one qualified lead per week during the worst stretch, despite ad metrics staying healthy
  • Click-through rate held above 1% and CPM stayed in the $30 to $35 range the entire time, meaning the ads themselves were never the problem
  • Full-renovation leads were consuming disproportionate design time from the studio's single in-house designer, without a matching close rate
  • Facebook's native lead form gave no visibility into where prospects were dropping off, making the real cause hard to diagnose

If the real problem went unfixed, the business risked pulling ad spend over an issue the ads never actually caused.

The Strategy

Instead of guessing, we let the data isolate the real bottleneck, then rebuilt the funnel and creative around it.

Diagnosing the Funnel, Not the Ads

We tracked CTR and CPM weekly against lead volume and confirmed the ads were performing exactly as they should. The drop-off was happening inside the disqualification logic on the lead form itself. Once isolated, we rolled back the overly strict qualifiers and simplified the form, removing the investment-range question that was creating friction before a prospect ever reached a human.

Service-Specific Targeting

We shifted ad messaging away from broad "full renovation" offers toward the services Neer Supply and Design could fulfill fastest: flooring, countertops, and kitchen and bathroom refreshes. This matched lead volume to the team's actual design capacity instead of flooding one designer with more full-scope projects than she could handle.

Authentic, Owner-Led Creative

We filmed a new round of ads directly in the Neer Supply and Design showroom, featuring the owner and staff in conversational, unscripted-feeling formats rather than polished commercials. The best-performing ad of the entire campaign was a casual back-and-forth skit shot on location, proof that authenticity outperformed production value.

Campaign Performance Snapshot

Between March 8 and July 12, 2026, Neer Supply and Design's Facebook Ads account delivered:

  • 📩 80 Leads Generated
  • 💰 $60,146.80 Revenue Generated (CAD, from deals closed as of July 2026)
  • 🚀 10.57x Return on Ad Spend
  • 📊 152,391 Impressions
  • 👥 42,194 Accounts Reached
  • 💵 $5,691.64 Total Ad Spend (CAD)
  • 🎯 $71.15 Average Cost Per Lead
  • 🖱 2,517 Clicks
  • 📈 1.65% Blended Click-Through Rate

The Outcome

Once the funnel was fixed, the numbers followed. Neer Supply and Design closed two deals worth a combined $60,146.80, enough revenue to cover every dollar spent on advertising since the campaign launched.

Lead quality changed too. The team went from chasing unresponsive submissions to having, in their own words, better conversations with leads that felt intentional and worth their time.

The business now has a playbook it can repeat: target the services it can fulfill fastest, keep creative authentic to the brand, and let performance data, not assumptions, decide what changes next.

Client Testimonial

"I've had better conversations with the leads that have come in, which is nice. It seems a little bit more intentional and worth my time."

Why This Matters for Home Renovation and Design Businesses

Any renovation or design business advertising on Facebook eventually hits the same fork Neer Supply and Design did: healthy ad metrics next to disappointing lead volume. The instinct is almost always to blame the ads. Usually, the real leak is somewhere else in the funnel, most often the lead form itself.

  • Track CTR and CPM alongside lead volume so you can tell whether it's an ad problem or a funnel problem dragging down results
  • Match ad targeting to your team's actual fulfillment capacity, not just the highest-ticket service you offer
  • Simplify lead forms wherever possible. Every extra qualifying question is a chance for a good prospect to drop off
  • Authentic, on-location creative featuring real staff can outperform polished, agency-style production
